Job Openings Include the Following:

Maintenance Technician

Conduct regular building maintenance tasks in a safe manner, encompassing upkeep of buildings, equipment, systems, and grounds. Proficiency in a variety of skilled tasks, including repair, remodeling, hard wall and modular office construction, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and painting.

Repair Crewman

Perform all tasks related to the maintenance and repair of diverse highway structures and other roadway assets. Utilize a range of tools, prepares materials, and maintains communication with local units, colleagues, and/or other crews.

Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate vehicles and various small to medium equipment. Conduct minor maintenance and servicing on operated equipment, including checking and adding fluids, adjusting brakes, maintaining proper air pressure in tires, and cleaning and washing equipment.

FDOT Hiring Process

Registration is encouraged as it will save you time on the day of the event. Registered attendees also have the opportunity to pre-apply for FDOT positions to be eligible to get hired on the spot.

The event will be held at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, 505 W. Pensacola Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301. Doors will open at 2:00 p.m. and the event will run until 6:00 p.m. [Get Directions]
